The lightweight and breathable ultrasoft FR balaclava was designed for comfort and flexibility, specifically for use with ARC goggles. This balaclava is inherently flame resistant, made in the USA, and constructed from 6.5 oz. Westex® Ultrasoft® rib fabric that will not melt, drip, or ignite. It features an ARC rating of 12 cal/cm² and is classified as CAT 2. The design includes a single layer top and bib with a goggle eye opening, providing durability and lightness. The balaclava complies with several standards, including NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269, ensuring it meets critical safety requirements for protective wear.
