The lightweight ultrasoft FR balaclava is made in the USA and features inherently FR fabric that will not melt, drip, or ignite. This durable hood is constructed from 6.5 oz. Westex® ultrasoft® rib fabric and includes a single layer top and bib with a large face opening for comfort. It is designed for wear under a hard hat and features a flat lock seam for enhanced comfort. The balaclava has an arc rating of 16 cal/cm² and is classified as Category 2. It complies with NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506, and OSHA 1910.269. The product's dimensions and specifications ensure it is both lightweight and effective for protection in hazardous environments.
