The cylindrical inner tank design of this intermediate bulk container (IBC) eliminates the corners, ribs, and seams found in traditional square or rectangular IBCs, making it easier to clean. Constructed from food-grade resins and color pigmentation, this tank is FDA compliant and features a proven 2" bottom drain valve connection that allows for virtually complete drainage. The design includes a 4-way fork and 2-way pallet jack entry with anti-teeter pockets at the front and back. Molded from 1/2" high-density polyethylene, it includes an 18" opening with a poly lid secured by a stainless steel bolt clamp and an FDA silicone gasket. Additional features consist of a 2" food-grade ball valve with a quick release cap and two 2" food-grade bungs—one with a standard NDP thread and the other with a low pressure/vacuum vent made of PE/EPDM-FDA/SS with a range of 0.5-1.5 and 5 SP/.25 VAC. The tank has a specific gravity of 1.9 and can be stacked 2-3 units high. Note that this IBC is not intended for products requiring a UN/DOT container and should only be used for non-hazardous products if shipping over the road.
