The Quincy QT™ reciprocating air compressor is designed to deliver reliable and powerful performance, leading the industry with the most ACFM per brake horsepower while consuming less energy. This standard duty compressor features a one-piece aluminum head that optimizes strength and facilitates heat dissipation. The unique valve design ensures the highest volumetric efficiency available. It is equipped with an industrial-duty motor and a general-purpose mounted and wired magnetic starter. The compressor operates at 145 PSI and features an RPM of 942. A 2-stage belt drive pump with a solid cast iron cylinder and a finned tube intercooler contributes to maximum cooling and increased valve life. The aluminum head further enhances heat dissipation, while the heavy-duty, easy-to-reach manual ball valve allows for straightforward operation. The design includes an extra-capacity oil reservoir that maintains low oil temperatures, a cast iron flywheel for energy efficiency and durability, and a splash lubrication system. Certification includes UL & CSA approval on all electrical components and ASME coding for the pressure vessel. The dimensions and specifications ensure it is built for optimal durability and performance, with a less than 5 PPM oil carryover (blow-by) rating and a 100% duty cycle.
