The Quincy QT™ is an industry-leading reciprocating air compressor designed to provide more air while consuming less energy, boasting the most ACFM per brake horsepower. It features a one-piece aluminum head that enhances strength and facilitates heat dissipation, accompanied by Quincy’s unique valve design which ensures the highest volumetric efficiency. This standard duty compressor includes an industrial-duty motor, a general-purpose mounted and wired magnetic starter, and maintains a less than 5 PPM oil carry-over rating. Operating at 145 PSI and with a speed of 942 RPM, the unit incorporates a heavy-duty, manual ball valve for ease of use, a 2-stage belt drive pump with solid cast iron cylinder, and a finned tube intercooler for optimal cooling and extended valve life. The aluminum head contributes to lower operating temperatures, while the extra-capacity oil reservoir and cast iron flywheel promote energy efficiency and durability. Additional attributes include a 100% duty cycle, splash lubrication, UL & CSA approval on all electrical components, and an ASME-coded pressure vessel. The compressor is designed with a balanced counterweight crankshaft for efficient performance, industrial-grade bearings for heavy demands, and two-piece connecting rods for easy serviceability, with graphite head gaskets and cylinders ensuring superior sealing integrity.
