NPS Steel Science Tables are designed for durability in demanding environments, featuring a robust construction with a 16 gauge steel frame apron and 14 gauge legs, making them virtually indestructible. The tabletop is supported by 11 gauge steel support tabs and corner brackets that are fused together using four heavy-duty tamper-free Loctite hex screws. The adjustable height steel legs offer a dual connection system, with the 12 gauge leg-base attached to the tabletop through four heavy-duty screws inserted using a strong welded hanger bolt. The legs connect to the frame corner brackets with industrial-grade nylon-insert lock nuts, and can be adjusted in 1" increments, with a height range from 22-1/4" to 37-1/4". Each leg is secured with two K-9 external tooth lock washers and heavy-duty tamper-free hex screws, and are equipped with simple-adjust glides, with optional casters available. The phenolic tabletop provides an ideal surface for lab experiments. The legs are constructed from 1-1/2" square tubing with a 14 gauge thickness and an insert built with 1-1/3" square tubing made of 16 gauge steel.
