The Sqids® 3194 Hand Tool Tethering Kit includes a 3156 Coil Tool Lanyard with a single carabiner and a 3740 Hand Tool Attachment Trap Slips™ variety 4-pack. This kit allows for tethering four different sized screwdrivers and hex key wrenches, preventing dropped objects while working at heights. The 3156 Coil Tool Lanyard is rated to support a weight of up to 2 lbs / 0.9 kg and features a low-profile design made of durable plastic. It includes a lightweight aluminum carabiner on one end and a tethering loop on the other for easy connection to tool anchors and attachments, even when wearing gloves. The coiled design minimizes snag and tangle hazards, stretching from a compact 12 in to 48 in / 30 cm to 122 cm. Installation of the patented Slips™ design is straightforward, requiring only that the tool attachment be slipped onto the tool and the lanyard connected, eliminating the need for additional installation tools or complicated procedures. Unlike competitors that use fitted caps that obscure tool information, the Slips™ leave the end open for easier accessibility. The single-piece design simplifies installation compared to the multi-piece designs of competitors. The attachment can be easily removed by pushing on the tab to loosen it, leaving no adhesive residue or mess behind.
