The product features a 6-3/4" projection and dimensions of 20" height by 11" width. It utilizes a steel face that is 3/8" thick, made from heavy-duty, high carbon steel, which is mounted over a laminated dock bumper. This design results in a low lifetime ownership cost, as the bumpers are capable of absorbing more shock and abrasion than conventional bumpers, leading to a longer wear expectancy with fewer replacements. Additionally, these bumpers provide "free float" protection through structural tie rods that float through elongated holes in the face plate, effectively combining the impact absorption benefits of traditional bumpers with the superior durability of a steel face plate.
