Multi-Clean® Pre-Treat Carpet Traffic Land Pre-Spray is a carpet detergent designed for pre-spraying soiled traffic lanes before extraction or rotary brush shampoo cleaning. This formulation includes non-butyl solvents, biodegradable surfactants, and builders to help remove oily soil and light greases from various carpet types. It is effective for use prior to extraction cleaning and should be sprayed on carpets 5 to 10 minutes before extracting or shampooing to loosen traffic lane soil and spots, resulting in cleaner carpets. The product is safe for use on commercial and residential nylon, including stain-resistant nylon, wool, and polypropylene. The recommended mixing ratio is one part Pre-Treat to five parts water, allowing for application at the rate of one gallon of mixed solution per 400 square yards of carpeting using a low-pressure pump-up sprayer. The spray should be directed at the carpet from six to eight inches above the surface, and the cleaning solution should be allowed to act for 5 to 10 minutes before proceeding with shampooing using a rotary scrubber or extraction system. Each package includes four gallon bottles.
