Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance at maximum efficiency, ensuring they can be effectively cleaned to a hygienic level for uncompromised food safety. Featuring an all stainless-steel construction, these motors are safeguarded against corrosion, which helps to prevent costly downtime and repairs. The windings are protected by encapsulation with hardened epoxy resin, providing an additional layer of defense against water and humidity, with the encapsulation extending into the conduit box to block moisture ingress. To enhance durability, the motors have a two-barrier mechanical seal that prevents water from entering at the shaft extension; the seals are constructed from Viton material, which is chemical-resistant and can withstand high temperatures as well as direct sprays. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box allows the middle portion of the 3-piece design to be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments, enabling the lead opening to be oriented in the desired direction.
