Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are designed for reliable performance at maximum efficiency while ensuring hygienic cleaning for uncompromised food safety. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction that safeguards against corrosion, thus preventing costly downtime and repairs. The windings are completely encapsulated in hardened epoxy resin, providing an additional layer of internal protection against water and humidity, which extends into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. The motors also utilize a two-barrier mechanical seal at the shaft extension, made of chemical-resistant Viton material that withstands high temperatures and direct spray. Additionally, the middle portion of the 3-piece conduit box can be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments to conveniently orient the lead opening as needed.
