Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are designed for reliable performance and maximum efficiency around the clock while ensuring hygienic cleaning to maintain uncompromised food safety. The motors feature all stainless-steel construction to safeguard against corrosion, thus avoiding costly downtime and repairs. The windings are completely encapsulated with hardened epoxy resin, providing an additional layer of internal protection against water and humidity, extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. A two-barrier mechanical seal is employed to prevent water from entering at the shaft extension, utilizing Viton material known for its chemical resistance, high-temperature tolerance, and ability to withstand direct spray. Additionally, the motors are equipped with a rotatable conduit box that allows the middle portion to be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments, enabling the lead opening to be adjusted to the desired direction.
