Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance at maximum efficiency and are designed for hygienic cleaning to ensure uncompromised food safety. Constructed entirely of stainless steel, these motors safeguard against corrosion, reducing the risk of costly downtime and repairs. They feature encapsulated/potted leads where hardened epoxy resin completely encases the windings, providing an additional layer of internal protection against water and humidity, extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. The motors are equipped with two-barrier mechanical shaft seals made from chemical-resistant Viton material, which can withstand high temperatures and handle direct spray. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box allows for the middle portion of the three-piece design to be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments to adjust the lead opening direction as needed.
