Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance at maximum efficiency, ensuring effective cleaning to maintain high standards of food safety. The motors feature all stainless steel construction, which safeguards against corrosion, thereby reducing costly downtime and repairs. Encapsulation with hardened epoxy resin completely surrounds the windings, providing an additional layer of internal protection against water and humidity; this encapsulation extends into the conduit box to keep moisture from entering the windings. The motors are equipped with a two-barrier mechanical seal at the shaft extension made from chemical-resistant Viton material, capable of withstanding high temperatures and direct spray. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box allows for the middle section to be turned 360 degrees in 90-degree increments, enabling convenient adjustment of the lead opening direction.
