Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance and maximum efficiency in demanding environments, featuring all-stainless steel construction that effectively safeguards against corrosion to prevent costly downtime and repairs. The motors are equipped with encapsulated and potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin fully encapsulates the windings, providing an extra layer of protection against water and humidity; this encapsulation extends into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress into the windings. Additionally, a robust two-barrier mechanical seal at the shaft extension prevents water entry, with the use of Viton material, which is chemical resistant and capable of withstanding high temperatures and direct sprays. The rotatable conduit box is designed for convenience, allowing the middle portion of the 3-piece conduit box to be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments to position the lead opening as required.
