Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are designed to perform reliably at maximum efficiency around the clock while ensuring uncompromised food safety through effective cleaning. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction, which safeguards against corrosion to avoid costly downtime and repairs. They are equipped with encapsulated/potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin completely encapsulates the windings, providing an additional layer of internal protection against water and humidity, and extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. The two-barrier mechanical seal at the shaft extension prevents water from entering, utilizing Viton material that is chemical resistant and can withstand high temperatures and direct spray. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box allows for 360-degree rotation (at 90-degree increments) to position the lead opening as required.
