Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are designed for reliable performance and maximum efficiency, equipped to be cleaned to a hygienic level to ensure uncompromised food safety. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction which safeguards against corrosion, thereby avoiding costly downtime and repairs. The encapsulation of potted leads employs hardened epoxy resin that completely encapsulates the windings, providing an additional layer of internal protection against water and humidity, with the encapsulation extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture intrusion. These motors also include a two-barrier mechanical seal at the shaft extension to prevent water ingress, utilizing Viton material known for its chemical resistance and ability to withstand high temperatures and direct spray. Furthermore, the middle portion of the three-piece conduit box can be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments, allowing for flexible lead opening orientation as needed.
