Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance at maximum efficiency around the clock while ensuring easy cleaning to maintain food safety standards. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction that provides corrosion resistance, thereby reducing costly downtime and repairs. They are equipped with encapsulated/potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin fully encapsulates the windings for enhanced internal protection against water and humidity, extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. The motors also include a two-barrier mechanical seal at the shaft extension, made of Viton material that is both chemical resistant and capable of withstanding high temperatures and direct spray. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box design allows the middle portion of the three-piece box to be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments, enabling customization of the lead opening direction.
