They include hardened epoxy resin that completely encapsulates the windings, providing an additional layer of internal protection against water and humidity, with the encapsulation extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture entry. A two-barrier mechanical seal made from chemical-resistant Viton material prevents water ingress at the shaft extension, capable of withstanding high temperatures and direct spray. The 3-piece conduit box design allows for 360-degree rotation (in 90-degree increments), offering flexibility in lead opening orientation.
