Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are designed to perform reliably at maximum efficiency around the clock and be effectively cleaned to a hygienic level to ensure uncompromised food safety. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction that safeguards against corrosion, thereby avoiding costly downtime and repairs. Hardened epoxy resin completely encapsulates the windings for an additional layer of internal protection against water and humidity, with the encapsulation extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture from entering the winding. A two-barrier mechanical seal prevents water from entering at the shaft extension of the motor, utilizing Viton material that is chemical resistant and can withstand high temperatures and direct spray. Additionally, the middle portion of the three-piece conduit box can be rotated 360 degrees at 90-degree increments to adjust the lead opening in the desired direction.
