Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are designed for maximum reliability and efficiency in food processing environments, ensuring effective cleaning to maintain food safety. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction that protects against corrosion, minimizing costly downtime and repairs. They include encapsulation/potted leads where hardened epoxy resin completely encapsulates the windings, offering enhanced internal protection against water and humidity, with the encapsulation extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. Additionally, the motors are equipped with two-barrier mechanical shaft seals made from chemical-resistant Viton material, which can withstand high temperatures and direct spray. A rotatable conduit box allows for 360-degree rotation in 90-degree increments, enabling flexible lead opening orientation.
