Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance and maximum efficiency, featuring an all stainless-steel construction that safeguards against corrosion to prevent costly downtime and repairs. The motors are equipped with encapsulated, potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin completely surrounds the windings, providing an additional layer of protection against water and humidity. This encapsulation extends into the conduit box to block moisture from entering the winding. Additionally, the motors have a two-barrier mechanical seal made from chemical-resistant Viton material, which is designed to withstand high temperatures and direct sprays, preventing water ingress at the shaft extension. The rotatable conduit box design allows the middle portion of the 3-piece box to rotate 360 degrees at 90-degree increments, enabling customization of the lead opening direction.
