Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are designed for reliable performance at maximum efficiency and can be effectively cleaned to ensure uncompromised food safety. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction that safeguards against corrosion, thereby reducing the risk of costly downtime and repairs. They include encapsulation with hardened epoxy resin that completely surrounds the windings for enhanced internal protection against water and humidity, with the encapsulation extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. Additionally, the motors are equipped with a two-barrier mechanical seal made from Viton material, which is both chemical resistant and capable of withstanding high temperatures and direct spray. The rotatable conduit box is designed as a 3-piece assembly that can be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments, allowing for flexibility in positioning the lead opening.
