Baldor-Reaction food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance and maximum efficiency, providing continuous operation while being easy to clean to maintain hygiene standards for food safety. Featuring all stainless-steel construction, these motors are resistant to corrosion, thereby reducing the risk of costly downtime and repairs. The windings are fully protected by encapsulation with hardened epoxy resin, which also extends into the conduit box to guard against moisture ingress. Additionally, the motors are equipped with a two-barrier mechanical seal that prevents water from entering at the shaft extension, utilizing Viton material known for its chemical resistance and ability to withstand high temperatures and direct sprays. The 3-piece conduit box is designed with a rotatable middle portion that allows for 360-degree rotation in 90-degree increments, enabling the lead opening to be positioned as needed.
