The Jet® HVBS-56V 5" x 6" VS Horizontal/Vertical Variable Speed Bandsaw features a powerful 1/2 horsepower DC motor with a newly designed 3-step gear transmission that enhances torque output, allowing for efficient operation in both vertical and horizontal cutting positions. This heavy-duty bandsaw is constructed with a casted head for durability and comes with an improved stand equipped with a built-in shelf. The device includes a fully guarded blade, ball bearing supported blade wheel, and fully adjustable ball bearing blade guides to ensure precision. Additional features encompass an automatic shut-off after a cut, variable speed settings for versatility in material cutting, a vertical worktable, and an adjustable material stop. The front legs are designed with leveling pads, and wheels are provided for easy mobility within the workspace. This bandsaw is CSA/CUS certified, meeting stringent electrical requirements, and is equipped with a 1/2" carbon steel blade with 14 teeth per inch.
