The Jet dual mitering horizontal bandsaw features a unique design with a head that dual miters both left and right for quick angle cuts, incorporating a frequency inverter that allows for a full range of blade speeds. This saw is constructed with heavy-duty materials to reduce vibration and deflection, and includes a built-in, self-propelled blade brush to prevent chip build-up in the blade guides. It comes equipped with a blade tension gauge to ensure the blade is in the correct cutting position, while the magnetic starter provides low voltage and lost phase protection. An automatic blade breakage sensor detects accidental breakage and interrupts power to enhance safety. The power switch includes a safety key to prevent accidental startups, and the blade is fully guarded for operator safety. Additionally, the machine features an automatic shut-off switch to stop the sawing process, a semi-automatic bow that raises after cutting to a predetermined height, and a hydraulic downfeed control that allows easy adjustment of feed rates for various materials. It also includes a hydraulic vise for rapid clamping of materials on the 13" saw, a coolant system, an adjustable material stop, and an integrated pressurized wash hose for easy machine clean-up. This saw is CSA/CUS certified, following strict guidelines and electrical requirements.
