The multitool attachment is the perfect complement to the JET 8-inch industrial bench grinder, maximizing productivity with its versatile features. The kit includes a 7-inch disc wheel, flat belt, free strap, and rubber contact wheel, which can be operated in either the horizontal or vertical position. Key features include a cast iron guard housing a 36 grit wheel, an adjustable cast iron tool rest, a massive cast iron body, and totally enclosed pre-lubricated ball bearings. The heavy-duty on/off toggle switch with a safety key prevents accidental start-up, while the cast iron wheel guarding, complete with a safety shield on the left and a sheet metal guard on the belt, enhances safety. Rubber mounts are included to prevent movement, and the top platen on the belt can be used for straightening or longer edges. There are four grinding surfaces on the multitool, and the front contact wheel features a serrated surface suitable for both deburring and grinding, alongside a grinding wheel for sharpening. A quick change of the belt allows the operator to transition from grinding to polishing in seconds.
