Featuring an all stainless-steel construction, these motors are safeguarded against corrosion, which helps prevent costly downtime and repairs. The windings are protected by encapsulation/potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin completely envelops the windings, providing an extra layer of defense against water and humidity; this encapsulation extends into the conduit box to block moisture from entering the windings. A two-barrier mechanical seal prevents water ingress at the shaft extension, utilizing Viton material that is resistant to chemicals, high temperatures, and direct spray. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box allows the middle section of the 3-piece conduit box to be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments, enabling adjustment of the lead opening to the desired direction.
