Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are designed for reliable performance at maximum efficiency, suitable for continuous operation, and can be effectively cleaned to maintain high food safety standards. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction that protects against corrosion, thus minimizing costly downtime and repairs. They include encapsulated/potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin completely encloses the windings, providing enhanced protection against water and humidity; this encapsulation extends into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. The motors are equipped with a two-barrier mechanical seal using Viton material, which is resistant to chemicals, can withstand high temperatures, and is capable of handling direct spray. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box allows for the middle portion of the 3-piece design to be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments to position the lead opening as needed.
