Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are designed for reliable performance and maximum efficiency around the clock while being effectively cleaned to ensure uncompromised food safety. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction for corrosion resistance, minimizing costly downtime and repairs. The encapsulated/potted leads use hardened epoxy resin that completely encapsulates the windings, providing an additional layer of internal protection against water and humidity, with encapsulation extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. A two-barrier mechanical seal at the shaft extension prevents water entry, employing Viton material that is chemical resistant and capable of withstanding high temperatures and direct spray. The rotatable conduit box allows for the middle portion of the 3-piece design to be rotated 360 degrees at 90-degree increments to adjust the lead opening direction as needed.
