Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance at maximum efficiency around the clock, featuring an all stainless-steel construction that provides protection against corrosion to minimize downtime and repair costs. The motors are designed with encapsulated/potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin completely surrounds the windings, offering an additional layer of protection against water and humidity. This encapsulation extends into the conduit box to prevent moisture from entering the windings. Additionally, the motors are equipped with a two-barrier mechanical seal that prevents water ingress at the shaft extension, utilizing chemical-resistant Viton material that can withstand high temperatures and direct spray. The rotatable conduit box allows the middle portion of the 3-piece design to be rotated 360 degrees at 90-degree increments, enabling the lead opening to be positioned as needed.
