Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are designed to perform reliably at maximum efficiency around the clock while being effectively cleaned to a hygienic level for uncompromised food safety. The motor features an all stainless-steel construction, which safeguards against corrosion, thereby avoiding costly downtime and repairs. It includes encapsulation/potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin completely encapsulates the windings for additional internal protection against water and humidity, extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture from entering the winding. Additionally, the motor is equipped with two-barrier mechanical shaft seals that prevent water from entering at the shaft extension, utilizing Viton material that is chemical resistant and can withstand high temperatures and direct spray. The rotatable conduit box allows the middle portion of the 3-piece assembly to rotate 360 degrees at 90-degree increments, enabling the lead opening to be adjusted to the desired direction.
