The SC Preferredon® wire shelving add-on unit features five tiers with dimensions of 42 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 74 inches high, designed to expand existing shelving units for optimized storage space. The kit includes two posts with leveling feet, five shelves, snap-on sleeves, and S-hooks for securely joining units. The SC Preferredon® blue metallic finish is engineered to withstand extreme wet, hot, or cold environments and incorporates Nex Gard®, an anti-microbial agent that protects the epoxy coating from bacteria, mold, and mildew to prevent odors and product degradation. Its open design enhances air and light circulation while minimizing dust accumulation. Shelves adjust easily without tools and align precisely at 1-inch increments, with shelf clips that snap onto the posts allowing the shelf collar to slide over for a secure fit. The unit comes with a limited lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion.
