The Ergodyne® N-Ferno® 6893Z balaclava face mask with bump cap insert is designed for cold winter jobs, featuring a zippered design that accommodates the Skullerz® 8945 universal bump cap insert (sold separately). Constructed from stretchable polyester fleece, this soft balaclava provides a snug fit that traps heat in extreme conditions. It includes reflective accents for enhanced visibility in low-light environments and a long length that fully covers the neck for added warmth and wind protection. The design allows for easy insertion of a bump cap, making it a protective winter face mask suitable for areas where minor head injuries from bumps and scrapes may occur. The Skullerz® 8945 bump cap insert, which is lightweight and impact-resistant, contains a foam pad for additional comfort and impact protection. This balaclava mask can be worn independently or as a warming layer beneath hard hats or ski helmets, making it ideal for various applications such as airline work, baggage handling, aircraft manufacturing and maintenance, warehousing and distribution, heavy equipment assembly, mechanics, confined space work, and HVAC and electrical work.
