The N-Ferno® 6847 FR balaclava face mask is dual compliant, meeting two flame-resistant standards: NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112. This winter face mask is designed to block various elements including earth, wind, fire, and water. Constructed with Polartec® FR Power Grid™ fleece, the fabric features a grid-construction knit that minimizes mass while maximizing performance for enhanced warmth and lighter weight. Its hydrophilic interior absorbs sweat and transfers it outside, while the exterior disperses moisture for efficient evaporation. The grid design allows for improved breathability, and the fabric is tested and certified to meet NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 standards for flame-resistant clothing. The balaclava has an arc rating of CAT 2, with a 20 cal/cm² ATPV. It can function as a ski face mask or be utilized in various work environments, providing warmth and dryness, and can be worn alone or beneath hard hats, ski helmets, or other head protection. The moisture-wicking and breathable fabric makes it ideal for winter work where flame-resistant clothing is essential.
