The N-Ferno® 6847 FR Balaclava Face Mask is dual compliant, meeting two flame-resistant standards: NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112. This winter face mask effectively blocks earth, wind, fire, and water elements. It is constructed with Polartec® FR Power Grid™ fleece, featuring a grid-construction knit that minimizes fabric mass while maximizing performance for increased warmth and lighter weight. The interior of the balaclava is hydrophilic to absorb sweat and transfer it outside, while the exterior disperses moisture for more efficient evaporation. The grid design enhances breathability through open air channels. The fabric is tested and certified to meet both NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 standards, boasting an arc rating of CAT 2; 20 cal/cm² ATPV. This thermal balaclava can be utilized as a ski face mask or as essential headwear on the job, providing warmth and dryness, allowing for focus on tasks. It is versatile enough to be worn alone or under hard hats, ski helmets, or other forms of head protection.
