The helmets feature a lightweight, impact resistant, fireproof shell and dual crown strap headgear with multi-directional adjustment for enhanced comfort. The quick-fit, 5-point adjustable geared headband includes a sweatband mechanism to significantly alleviate head and neck strain during prolonged welding tasks. The viewing area measures 5.97 square inches (3.62" x 1.65") and provides high definition true color clarity along with two optical arc sensors for protection against arc flash hazards. The optical clarity rating is 1/1/1/2, ensuring a clear and uniform viewing experience, while UV/IR coating minimizes lens scratching and discoloration. For performance, the helmet features an external shade selector knob with a grind option for quick adjustments, internal controls for sensitivity (high-low) and delay (min.-max.), DIN 9 to 13 variable shade selection (TIG operable to 5 amps), a switching speed of 1/25,000 per second, and solar cells with non-replaceable 3V lithium batteries (CR2032) alongside automatic on/off technology.
