The 5.97 square inches (3.62" x 1.65") viewing area offers high-definition true color clarity, complemented by two optical arc sensors that protect against arc flash hazards. With a 1/1/1/2 optical clarity rating, the helmet provides a clear and uniform viewing area, along with a UV/IR coating to minimize lens scratching and discoloration. Performance features include an external shade selector knob with a grind option for quick adjustments, internal controls for sensitivity and delay settings, and DIN 9 to 13 variable shade selection, operable for TIG welding down to 5 amps.
