The JET® JLP-A series lever hoists are engineered for safety, reliability, and durability, suitable for light to medium-duty industrial applications. This kit includes a patented brake wear indicator that enhances safety by signaling when friction disks need replacement, and offers an option of shipyard hooks to mitigate stretched hooks from point or tip loading. The hoist is available in capacities ranging from 1 ton to 6 tons with standard lifts of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet, along with custom lift options. Key features include a Weston style, double pawl brake design for improved load security, industrial-rated alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging, and hooks designed to slowly stretch in overload scenarios for increased jobsite safety. Additionally, the lever hoist is constructed with cast steel safety latches secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, features a grade 80 black oxide coating for enhanced durability, utilizes a needle bearing design for better efficiency and smoother operation, and boasts a compact body for low headroom applications.
