The JET® JLP-A series lever hoists are engineered for safety, reliability, and durability in light to medium-duty industrial applications. This kit includes a patented brake wear indicator that enhances safety by signaling when friction disks need replacement. The hoists are available in capacities ranging from 1 ton to 6 tons, with standard lift options of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet, while custom lifts can also be provided. Key features of the JLP-A series include a Weston style, double pawl brake design that divides the load across opposite sides of the ratchet gear for improved load security, industrial-rated alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging, and hooks designed to stretch gradually to signal an overload situation, thereby increasing jobsite safety. Additionally, the cast steel safety latches are secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, and the hoist has a Grade 80 black oxide coating for enhanced durability. A needle bearing design promotes efficient and smooth operation, while its compact, lightweight design makes it suitable for low headroom applications and confined spaces. This product complies with ANSI / ASME B30.21 and HST-3 standards, featuring impact-resistant all-steel construction for added durability and protection.
