The JET® JLP-A series lever hoists combine safety, reliability, and durability, making them ideal for light to medium-duty industrial applications. This series features a patented brake wear indicator that visually signals when the friction disks need replacement, enhancing safety. Additionally, JET® offers an option for shipyard hooks that help eliminate stretched hooks due to point or tip loading. The JET® JLP-A lever hoist is available in capacities ranging from 1 ton to 6 tons with standard lift options of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet, as well as custom lifts. Key features include an improved easy free chain design for quicker hoist positioning and slack chain take-up, a Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design for enhanced load security, and industrial-rated alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees. The ergonomic grip design promotes operator comfort and control, while durable cast-steel safety latches secured with Allen screws and lock nuts ensure compliance with lifting regulations. The hoists utilize a grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for added durability, along with needle bearings supporting the load sheave to enhance efficiency and smooth operation. Constructed from impact-resistant all steel, these hoists meet ANSI / ASME B30.21 and HST-3 standards, ensuring compliance and reliability in demanding environments.
