The JET® JLP-A series lever hoists are engineered for safety, reliability, and durability, suitable for light to medium-duty industrial applications. The kit includes a patented brake wear indicator, which provides a visual signal when the friction disks require replacement, enhancing safety. The hoists feature an improved easy free chain design, allowing two-step, no load free chaining for quicker positioning and slack chain take-up, engineered not to disengage under load. With capacities ranging from 1 ton to 6 tons and standard lift options of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet (with custom lifts available), the JET® JLP-A is ideal for contractors. Additional key features include a Weston style double ratchet pawl brake for enhanced load security, industrial-rated alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees and indicate overload through slow stretching, and a redesigned ergonomic grip for improved operator comfort and control. The cast-steel safety latches are secured with Allen screws and lock nuts for increased durability, while the grade 80 black oxide coated load chain adds further longevity. Needle bearings support the load sheave for greater efficiency and smooth operation, and the hoist is constructed from impact-resistant all steel materials. The JET® JLP-A series complies with ANSI / ASME B30.21 and HST-3 standards and offers the option of shipyard hooks, making it a robust choice for various lifting tasks.
