The JET® JLP-A series lever hoists are engineered for safety, reliability, and durability, suitable for light to medium-duty industrial applications. This kit includes a patented brake wear indicator that enhances safety by signaling when friction disks need replacing, as well as an optional shipyard hook that minimizes the risk of hook stretching due to point or tip loading. The lever hoist is available in capacities ranging from 1 ton to 6 tons with standard lifts of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet, with custom lifts also offered. Key features include a Weston style, double pawl brake design that enhances load security, industrial-rated alloy steel hooks capable of rotating 360 degrees for easy rigging, and hooks that stretch under overload conditions to indicate potential hazards. The hoist is equipped with cast steel safety latches secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, and it features a Grade 80 black oxide coating for improved durability. Its needle bearing design allows for increased operational efficiency and smooth functionality, while the compact and lightweight structure accommodates low headroom applications and confined spaces.
