The JET® JLP-A series lever hoists are designed for light to medium-duty industrial applications, showcasing safety, reliability, and durability. The kit includes a patently innovative brake wear indicator that visually signals when the friction disks need replacement, enhancing operational safety. It features an improved easy free chain design that allows for quick hoist positioning without the risk of free chaining under load, and a Weston style double ratchet pawl brake that enhances load security by distributing the load across opposite sides of the ratchet gear. The industrial-rated alloy steel hooks can rotate 360 degrees for easier rigging and are constructed to slowly stretch in response to overload situations. The lever hoist also incorporates a redesigned ergonomic grip for better operator control and comfort, while the cast-steel safety latches, secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, provide enhanced durability over standard stamped steel latches. The hoist includes a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for added durability, with needle bearings enhancing the load sheave's efficiency and facilitating smooth operation. Constructed from impact-resistant all-steel materials, the JET® JLP-A lever hoist meets ANSI / ASME B30.21 and HST-3 standards. It is available in capacities ranging from 1 ton to 6 tons with standard lifts of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet, with custom lift options available.
