The JET® JLP-A series lever hoists are engineered for safety, reliability, and durability, intended for light to medium-duty industrial applications. The kit includes a patented brake wear indicator that enhances safety by signaling when to replace the friction disks. Available in capacities ranging from 1 ton to 6 tons, the hoists come with standard lifts of 5, 10, 15, and 20 feet, with custom lifts also available. Key features include a Weston style, double pawl brake design that distributes the load across the ratchet gear for greater security; industrial-rated alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging; and hooks that slowly stretch to signal an overload condition, enhancing job site safety. Additionally, cast steel safety latches are secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, while the hoist is coated with grade 80 black oxide for added durability. The needle bearing design increases efficiency and ensures smooth operation. Its compact design allows for use in low headroom applications and confined spaces. This product complies with ANSI / ASME B30.21 and HST-3 impact resistant all steel construction, providing enhanced durability and protection.
