Waterhog® mats are durable, stain-resistant mats featuring a unique bi-level design that effectively traps dirt and moisture below foot level, ensuring clean and dry floors. These mats are made with a surface of solution-dyed PET fabric, which is manufactured from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic sourced from drink bottles, and a rubber backing containing 20% recycled tire content. The rubber backing resists cracking and curling, allowing the mat to lie flat and remain securely in place. The design includes a classic squares pattern with a rubber border, often referred to as a "classic" border. The mats are certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI). It is important to note that the mat size is approximate because the rubber backing can shrink or expand with temperature changes and time, with a tolerable manufacturing size variance of 3-5%. The mats are designed for placement in indoor entrances and feature a PET fiber surface along with an SBR rubber backing, measuring 3/8" in thickness and possessing an absorption rate of 24 oz. per square yard. Additionally, they are classified as needle punch carpet mats.
