The AC gearmotor features a right-angle shaft with a power rating of 3/8 HP and an operational speed of 29 RPM, complemented by a gear ratio of 60 to 1. It can handle an overhung load of 235 pounds and provides a full load torque of 238 lb. in. This gearmotor is designed with a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure, operates on a 38 frame, and is compatible with a voltage range of 208-230V in a three-phase setup, with nameplate amps rated at 1.3. Key features include an exclusive inverter rated insulation system (IRIS) for enhanced protection against voltage spikes from variable frequency drives, double shielded ball bearings in the motor, and a standard steel conduit box. The entire gearmotor is coated with high gloss hardened black enamel paint and utilizes high-temperature insulation (Class F) to prevent overheating when used with a PWM inverter down to a 10:1 speed range. Although designed for mounting at any angle, it is recommended to avoid positioning it with the shaft up and the motor below to prevent lubricant leakage.
