Our Huron clean room stools from Blue Ridge Ergonomics™ are designed for applications where the concentration of airborne particles must be kept below a desired level, specifically classified as Class 10 (ISO 4) clean room stools. These stools have been tested by independent laboratories to meet Fed Standard 209E and ISO 14644-1, which is widely accepted as the industry standard for particulate requirements. Constructed from easy-to-clean polyurethane that is both chemical and puncture resistant, they are available in black or blue colors and feature venting slots on the seat for added design and comfort. The stools are equipped with a 360° all-around adjustment ring that can be operated from any position, and each stool includes a 26" polished cast aluminum base and a 1" thick, 13" wide seat. They come in desk, medium, and high bench heights to accommodate different work surface heights and are available with or without an 18" chrome diameter foot ring for ergonomic leg support. Users can choose between chrome-hooded rolling casters or black glides for stationary use. In industries such as pharmaceuticals, aerospace, semiconductor, medical device, and public health, maintaining minimal particle emissions is critical, making these stools essential.
