The Chill-Its® 6667 Wet Evaporative Cooling Vest is constructed from a lightweight PVA material that provides immediate cooling relief to the core. This vest features breathable mesh panel siding for enhanced comfort, making it lighter than traditional wet evaporative vests. It is designed with a front zipper for easy on/off and a customizable fit. To activate the cooling properties, simply run the vest under water and wring it out; no ice or refrigeration is required. The super evaporative PVA material feels cooler than the ambient air and keeps the wearer comfortable for hours. The vest can be machine washed as needed and should be hung to dry to ensure longevity, although it will stiffen as it dries. To reactivate and soften, simply run it under water again. This vest is particularly suitable for use in construction, landscaping, roofing, and other outdoor activities where heat stress may be a concern, including gardening, hiking, and sports.
