The Milton 600 is a 1/4" MNPT brass hose fitting designed for use in assembling new hoses or replacing old fittings on hoses. It features a 1/4" male national pipe thread and a barb type construction that ensures a secure grip on hoses with a 1/4" inside diameter. While a hose clamp may be used, it is not the preferred method for securing the connection; the ideal approach for a professional finish is to use a crimped ferrule.
